Rhodiola rosea is a flowering plant native to cold mountains regions of Europe and Asia. Its roots have been through history used to treat anxiety, fatigue and depression. The two most potent ingredients are rosavin and salidroside (1). Long term stress can contribute to fatigue and burnout. Recent studies showed that taking rhodiola daily may improve symptoms of burnout (2) and fatigue (3), however more research is needed to prove its health benefits.
